During doing the new coursework, I have undertaken more research. This includes research into non pop magazines as my target audience is mid to late teens instead of the stereotypical audience of a pop magazine.

During my initial research, I needed to find out about Pop and the history behind it. After this research, I know now the history behind pop and what components in music, pop contains. This will help structure my questionnaire and the construction of my magazine. I have identified the differences between typical pop magazines for different ages. I have also researched into magazines that fit my target group and I can take elements of this in my magazine but still use conventional items of a pop music magazine.
